Auditions held Saturday, Sept 18 in St. Joseph

Kearney, Mo., September 22, 2021: Kearney students have proven once again that they know how to make a joyful noise.

Kearney Junior High School and Kearney High School sent 23 students to audition for the Northwest Missouri Choir Directors Association’s All District Choir on Saturday, Sept. 18, in St. Joseph, Mo. All 23 students were selected, according to KHS Choir Director Dustin McKinney.

“The process consists of identifying key signatures, sight-reading, and singing a vocal solo for judges through a blind audition process,” Mr. McKinney said. “This is not an easy process and our kids had outstanding performances across the board. I am so proud of them!”
