Kearney Junior High ninth-grader Ava Palmer is a finalist in Johnson & Johnson’s “Happy Hands” contest, according to art teacher Rayma McKinney. This contest involves having students create designs for the company’s hand soap dispensers. This is the second year in a row that Ms. McKinney has had a student selected for the final round of the contest. Miss Palmer is a finalist in the grade 6-12 category. Her design is pictured above.
