A large group of high school students and teachers pose for a group photo outside a modern school building on a cloudy day.
Thirty-one Kearney High School Choir students traveled to Missouri Western State University on Saturday, Sept. 12, for the Northwest Missouri Choral Directors Association District Choir Auditions. All 31 students who auditioned earned All-District Choir honors!

Earning a place in the All-District Choir is no small accomplishment. Students were evaluated through a challenging audition process that included performing a solo, identifying key signatures and sight-singing for an adjudicated score. Those earning the top scores were selected for the ensemble.
