Award certificate from PRIME Center, Saint Louis University, recognizing Kearney Jr. High for exceptional student growth in English Language Arts.

The PRiME Center at Saint Louis University has honored Kearney Junior High with two statewide Growth Awards for the 2024-25 school year, recognizing the school’s outstanding student growth in both English Language Arts and Mathematics.

That recognition places Kearney Junior High No. 12 in Missouri in English Language Arts growth and No. 15 in Missouri in Mathematics growth in the overall statewide dataset.

This is an outstanding accomplishment and a testament to the work happening every day inside the classrooms at KJH. Student growth reflects more than a single test result. It reflects strong teaching, meaningful support, and a school culture committed to helping students keep moving forward.

We are proud of our Kearney Junior High students, teachers, staff and families for this recognition. Being among the top growth-performing schools in Missouri is something worth celebrating!
